Zomby announces new album

   Today we were blessed with the news that the amazing Zomby is actually going to release an album this year! BOOM...only earlier this month he released "With Love" after a prolonged absence between making new material. But what we also realised today was in fact that Zomby had already told us the album title...in that secretive/mysterious way he always seems to do, it was the name of that frigging single. 

   "With Love" is the new Album by Zomby due for release via 4AD on 18th June.

Bare - Fulltilt

    Bare has just uploaded this Brand New amazing track on to Soundcloud...Man it's HUGE!    Forthcoming on Buygore later this year. I do see bigger things for this guy in the future! What is it that David Rodigan says in that Newham Generals track? "I won't make too many speeches cos it's all about the music"

Quite possibly the greatest day in Chart History?

 

    So this is how the charts looked today, as long as we discard Will.I.Am and Beiber that is. In the official charts today Jameela Jamil announced that Rudimental were numero 1 with "Waiting All Night", Daft Punk were Numero 3 with the brilliantly refreshing "Get Lucky" and Duke Dumont was at Numero 4 with "Need U (100%)"

   Could this possibly be the greatest day in Chart History? Do the stats show that people are starting to buy and listen to decent music once again?  I fecking hope so!  Because we have been so depressed with the state of the music industry over the last few years...I mean with songs like this being played on national radio, you can't complain!

Another massive track by Awe

  So after championing this guy in our one's to watch, Awe has carried on making tune after tune after tune! And his latest track Trendy is absolutely huge, Plastician seems to be the main person behind promoting Awe on his Rinse show. You can more or less guarantee that Awe is going to be a big player within the scene and if their productions carry on this way...no one knows where they may be in the next year...If this clip from the upcoming Eagle Soul EP is anything to go buy...We have a good'un on our hands

Disclosure - You and Me ft Eliza Doolittle

   The Disclosure boys have give us a wee little treat from their brand new album "Settle". The track featuring Eliza Doolittle puts off those perfect summer vibes. It was played for the first time last night on the amazingly brilliant Annie Mac show on Radio 1 last night

  You WILL be hearing this over the summer...I'm pretty sure this could be the reason for the sun being out today? What do you think?

Daft Punk - Get Lucky

We finally have the brand new Daft Punk track! Thank the lord that the two beauts of EDM have brought upon us this treat of spine-tingingly great music!

Get Lucky will be the first release off of their brand new album "Random Access Memories" and you know what? It's quite obvious that this is going to live up to the hype...I mean...IT'S DAFT PUNK for god's sake!

Settle

Disclosure have finally revealed the name and album artwork of their DEBUT ALBUM..."Settle" and the artwork is pretty awesome too. We may get a track listing soon hopefully and from then on...well it's all upwards from there to be honest!

  The album is due for release on the 3rd of June on PMR, in a mailing list email the boys had this to say!

"At last we can announce that our debut Album is on its way! We've worked so hard over the last year, alongside a number of amazing artists and friends and we cannot wait for you to all finally hear it from start to finish!"

Jai Paul Sneaks album release!

     It's been near on two years since BTSTU was released and a year since that Jasmine track appeared online. But, the super secretive Jai Paul has not just released a single or an EP he's just released a whole MotherFu@£ing album on his Bandcamp page!

   I've never been so caught out by a release ever...after waiting months and months for a single launch the last thing you expect is a bloody album...

  Well, we've featured the manc producer before...and well...HIS REMIX OF DANCEFLOOR IS FECKING AMAZING.

    Seriously it's brill, he's got his hands on that track by Slowolf ft Raekwon...and by Raekwon I mean actual Wu-Tang Clan Raekwon! I know...apparently Slowolf, who's been around for less than year, sold his merc to get Raekwon on the track. To be honest, I reckon that will be the best decision the scandinavian beat merchant will ever make in his life!
